Counselling/ psychotherapy can help you to look at issues from different perspectives, gain greate
Counselling/ psychotherapy can help people who are feeling anxious, unable to cope or concentrate on anything, feel empty, sad, depressed and/or lack of self worth and less confident.
Counselling/psychotherapy can help those who have difficulty making or sustaining relationships and those who frequently feel lonely and isolated. Counselling also can help people who have frequent mood swings, have difficulty in coming to terms with losses, such as bereavement, divorce or loss of a job. Also, those who suffer from an eating disorder, physical symptoms with no apparent cause, have obsessive behaviour, feel rejected and suffer from trauma or abuse.
There is no fixed amount of time that the counselling process takes, as it varies between different people and the depth of their problems. However, you are always in control of your situation and it is you who will determine how long therapy may last. My aim is to ensure that the therapy is effective and continues only for as long as it is considered beneficial to you.
You may be wondering if it will help you, is it worth, what actually happens, or curious as to how therapy works? Why not take that important step and contact us to enable us to reach an understanding of your feelings, explore the issues, discuss your expectations and decide together if counselling is appropriate for you. It will also provide an opportunity for me to answer any questions you may have and explain to you how I work.
